Sketch #10- Trees

I did this one on time!!!

I love trees and nature and weather. I wanted to double major in meteorology as well as Interior Architecture or design depending on the school, so I love the idea of drawing trees and things like that, i am not so great at them though. But Some of these turned out pretty good.

Just Pencil: I just did the ones that were on there as a sample because I really like the way that they looked. I like irregular the best and Conical second best.
Sketch 10-A
Markers: I think that the first one is ok but the second one actually turned out pretty good. I am really proud of it. I couldnt get the same effect as the guy did in the video but I still think that it looks good.Maybe if I wanted to do something that I liked better maybe I should have tried it with one of the Just Pencils ones and see how that looked. Also I think it had something to do with the paper I was using. When I used sketch paper it was too dark, when I used the tracing it was too smooth and stuff was running and not doing what it was supposed to. I need to use the kind of paper he is or control how to make the marker do what I want so it doesnt run and still does what he gets out of it.

Colored Pencils: With this one I had a lot more trouble for some reason. I could not get done the shape of how the lady was doing it, just be able to figure out how the technique worked. Maybe I should have worked with one of the ones that I liked from the Just Pencils ones. I really think that the technique was difficult for me, for some reason, to get past. I think they look worse in person the pictures actually look pretty good. The first one was one that I thought had potential from the start but ended up not looking as good as I hoped. The second one I was just playing with, besides the first tree in the drawing because it is sketch 10-D. The last ones was me trying to get the technique down, they arent too bad. They look so much better in the pictures.

Final CAD Project

This is my final CAD project.

Cover Sheet:
CS1

Dimensioned Floor Plan:
A1
Reflected Ceiling Plan:
A2
Elevation(s):
A3
(I didn't do the second one, I hope to be able to have it done for the second turn in option.)

Furnished, Photoshopped Rendered Floor Plan:
A4
I really had a lot of fun with this project, I learned a lot more things to help with  AutoCAD to go with the stuff that I learned  from the class that I took at APP. I had a lot of fun with Photoshop doing some of the things that I learned at APP but doing them a whole lot better because of having them better explained. All I need to explore is fixing (adding) the other section elevation and leaders.

Sketch #9- Draw What You Would Like

I chose to draw a tree limb in my backyard that has cracked (because of that lovely ice that left us with no power for 3 days) and is leaning on the power line outside of our house. I think that maybe there would be a better way to show the crack in the limb. I will have to do some research on possible ways to show this better.
Sketch 9

Here is a picture of the tree limb in my back yard. I really love trees and nature (ironic that we are doing trees for sketch 10). :)

Sketch #8- Group of People

This is my take on the group of or crowd of people. It isn't that great. I wasn't sure how to go about it AND it is also really late!

Progress on Cad Project

Progress with Floor plan, section elevation, and Reflected Ceiling Plan

Dimensions
Things that need to be re looked at is the blocks because they for some reason would not "copy" over into my file from the Design Center. And need to figure out why in the world my dimensions will not let me redesign them.

Sketch #7- Redrawn Sketch

I  chose to redraw my sketch 6. I decided to go about this drawing differently this time. I like this one better because of the way I went about making the tree limbs, the basic form is the same but this time  played with lines making something darker or lighter.

I also think my cardinal turned out better too because I wasn't as crazy about how perfect it looked. I changed the direction it was facing.
