Sketch #10- Trees

I did this one on time!!!

I love trees and nature and weather. I wanted to double major in meteorology as well as Interior Architecture or design depending on the school, so I love the idea of drawing trees and things like that, i am not so great at them though. But Some of these turned out pretty good.

Just Pencil: I just did the ones that were on there as a sample because I really like the way that they looked. I like irregular the best and Conical second best.

Markers: I think that the first one is ok but the second one actually turned out pretty good. I am really proud of it. I couldnt get the same effect as the guy did in the video but I still think that it looks good.Maybe if I wanted to do something that I liked better maybe I should have tried it with one of the Just Pencils ones and see how that looked. Also I think it had something to do with the paper I was using. When I used sketch paper it was too dark, when I used the tracing it was too smooth and stuff was running and not doing what it was supposed to. I need to use the kind of paper he is or control how to make the marker do what I want so it doesnt run and still does what he gets out of it.

Colored Pencils: With this one I had a lot more trouble for some reason. I could not get done the shape of how the lady was doing it, just be able to figure out how the technique worked. Maybe I should have worked with one of the ones that I liked from the Just Pencils ones. I really think that the technique was difficult for me, for some reason, to get past. I think they look worse in person the pictures actually look pretty good. The first one was one that I thought had potential from the start but ended up not looking as good as I hoped. The second one I was just playing with, besides the first tree in the drawing because it is sketch 10-D. The last ones was me trying to get the technique down, they arent too bad. They look so much better in the pictures.
